Aanii, My name is Nawatiin Kwe meaning Calm Water Woman and I am First Nations from Manitoulin Island. I am an Indigenous entrepreneur who has worked in the Indigenous community as a frontline worker over the last fifteen years. Candance’s Catering was born out of a lifelong passion for food and has become another way to serve my community. I have catered for work events, ceremonies and community events all throughout Toronto.

Wellness plays an important role in my life and I wanted to share this knowledge with others. With this, I began offering Cedar Tea Kits to help others on their journey to wellness. My desire is to make this beautiful medicine more accessible to all in the community and provide wellness for people that are in need of detoxification, nourishment, immune support.

My dream is to travel North America and beyond to build relationships with communities, gain knowledge about food, plants and medicines and share these stories and knowledge with the world.

I am excited to share my journey with you as Candace’s Catering evolves and grows...I am so grateful for your support, Miigwetch (thank you)!
